Summer on her way to victory in the UnitedHealhCare Fit Kids Duathlon, and second overall (including males) on Saturday. Summer also raced in the Tampa Cigar City Crit & Pinellas Park Circuit Race the next day and was 1st 13-14 Female. Awesome weekend for Summer!

Tristan jumped into an early season triathlon to test his fitness and challenge a fellow triathlete and had some great results. He placed 2nd overall, 1st AG, and beat out John Hovius of AAA Tricamp!!! by 33 seconds! Keep up the great work, Tristan!

Graham used some recent track PR performances to set himself up for the Tri Charlotte County Triathlon in Punta Gorda, FL this past weekend….and it showed as he placed 2nd overall, just 35 seconds off of first place. He had the fastest swim split.

Avery showed a strong, early season performance at the Smithfield Sprint in Virginia on Saturday, the 31st of March. A solid pool swim, followed by a smoking fast T1, set up a PR bike leg by 1:45 over last year. A big push on the run fell just 8 secs short of her competition. 2nd place is always hungrier than 1st place, I always say. Avery placed 6th overall! Congratulations, Avery! Way to represent the TEaM!

Getting the HR ready
The TEaM Youth Elite women had a strong showing at the season’s first draft legal race. All had previously qualified for the 2012 National Championships, so this race was for fun. But athletes from around the country made it a competitive race.
The distances for this event were 375 meter swim, 10k bike (2 laps), and 2.5k run (1 lap).

Caroline Condon running to grab her qualification spot for Nationals!
TEaM added one more to the list of athletes headed to the National Championships this August in West Chester, Ohio. Caroline Condon raced hard from start to finish and placed 3rd on the list of 10 qualifiers! She joins her teammates, Ciara Hopkins, Summer Kanstoroom, Avery Gillem, Tristan Rhodes, Graham Pimentel, Savannah Dearden, Sarah Sykes & Kaileah Blazek.
