2013 Season:TEaM Training at Lake Louisa

2013. A new season, a new TEaM. Triton Elite Multisport welcomed new and veteran members to TEM’s training session at Lake Louisa, in prepation for the Draft Legal Challenge/Clermont, which will include an EDR for the Juniors and U25s and an F1 for the 12-16 yos.

The chilliest day of the year in FLA did not freeze our spirits, although a little bit in the swim. The TEaM did a group run, scouting the course, followed by a group ride practicing the race’s 180 degree turn. One water entry and one exit was all the frigid temps would allow. Although one brave TEaM soul returned for another interval. Bravo Arriana!

Soon after a feast of pot luck was enjoyed by all. Thanks for coming out!

2012 USAT Youth/Junior National Championships

TEaM made it to the Finish of the 2012 Season in grand style with an 8th place among all development teams (30+) across the nation. Ten Triton Elite Multisport athletes gave it their all and posted some grea performances against the best field the Youth/Junior Championships has seen. Congratulations to each athlete!

Kaitlin Shiver Donner, TEaM’s U23 Athlete Headed to Olympic Trials!!!

Three years after winning the USAT Age Group National Championships, Kaitlin is heading to the US Olympic Trials for Triathlon. 3 years of focus, perserverance, hard work, and patience has brought her to the starting line of the ITU World Triathlon in San Diego, CA. on May 10th! Congratulations Kaitlin and to her Coach Jennifer!

St. Anthony’s Triathlon and Meek n Mighty This Weekend!

Triton Elite Multisport will be heading to St. Petersburg for the Meek n Mighty and Olympic Distance Triathlons. Look for Summer and Graham on Saturday, and Ciara, Kaileah, Sarah, Mackenzie, Caroline, Tristan on Sunday wearing the blue and orange!! Good luck to the TEaM!

Two Tritons at FAU Wellness Triathlon, err, Duathlon

The FAU Wellness Triathlon in Boca Raton, FLA turned into a duathlon after high winds stirred up the waters creating rip currents and an increased presence of man-o-wars. So Ciara and Sam rolled with it and cruised to easy victories in the 13-15 and 16-19 Talent ID series categories, respectively. Sam saw a 3 min drop in his bike time from last year, and Ciara saw a bike split that out-dueled her dad for the first time, by a whopping 7 seconds. Ciara was 4th overall female with a cruising run, and Sam was 11th overall. Great work you two!!!

Congratulations to Will Samuelson and Kayla Pratt for winning the boys 13-15 Talend ID race and girls 16-19 Talent ID race, respectively.

Escape From Ft. Desoto Returns to it’s Roots with Climb up Fort

Triton Elite had great performances at the Escape from Ft. Desoto Triathlon which brought back its famed climb to the top of the actual fort. TEaM was ready for it and posted some awesome results.

TEaM took top honors in the Talent ID race for the 13-15 Female and Male categories as well as the 16-19 Female category.

Results:
Tristan: Overall 13-15

Summer: Overall 13-15

Kaileah: Overall 16-19

Sarah: 2nd Talent ID 16-19
Mackenzie: 4th Talent ID 16-19

Kaileah, Sarah and Mackenzie rounded out the podium for the female 15-19 category.

Avery, Solid in Bumpass Triathlon

Avery headed to Bumpass for the Rumpass Triathlon in Virginia, and despite warmer than usual temperatures had a great race. She placed first in her AG and 10th overall female. Got to love when the young ones have super fast transitions over the top finishers…check out the results by clicking on the pic.

The TEaM Welcomes New Member, Malia!

Triton Elite welcomes new member, Malia of North Carolina. Malia was in action at the Clermont Draft Legal Challenge, placing 3rd and recently raced in her home state, placing 2nd in a sprint triathlon, Cool Breeze Triathlon. Click on picture for race results.

As a member of the High Performance Team, Malia, is a great addition to an already powerful group of youth elite females.
